Mercedes-Benz C Class 2011

Mercedes-Benz is a German manufacturer of automobiles, buses, coaches and trucks. Mercedes Benz is a division of its parent company, Daimler AG.  Mercedes-Benz traces its origins to Karl Benz’s creation of the first petrol-powered car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, patented in January 1886 and Gottlieb Daimler and engineer Wilhelm Maybach’s conversion of a stagecoach by the addition of a petrol engine later that year. The first Mercedes-Benz brand name vehicle were produced in 1926, following the merger of Karl Benz’s and Gottlieb Daimler’s companies into the Daimler-Benz company. Mercedes-Benz is one of the most well-known and established automotive brands in the world and is also the world’s oldest automotive brand still in existence today.
The 2011 C-Class model of Mercedes Benz is available in four trim levels: C300 Luxury Sedan ($35.900 MSRP), C300 Sport Sedan ($33.990 MSRP), C350 Sport Sedan ($39.990 MSRP) and the special on-top C63 AMG ($58.200 MSRP).
The C-Class Sedan is the best selling Mercedes-Benz model. For 2011, both Sport model (C300 Sport Sedan and C350 Sport Sedan) are now equipped with LED daytime running lights and black inlays around the headlights and all C-Class models come with new headlight control switches and ESP controls relocated to the instrument cluster.
The high-performance new 2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has a powerful new option package – the AMG Development Package, which features new lightweight forged pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft with modified engine management that together provide an extra 27 hp for a total 481 hp. The AMG Development Package also includes track-calibrated sport suspension, limited slip differential, red brake calipers, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler and a higher speed limiter of 174 mph.
All Mercedes-Benz 2011 C-Class models boast Agility Control which provides the benefits of both soft and stiff shock absorbers. The 2011 C-Class comes also with an ”ECO/SPORT” button, and in the Sport mode understeer and body lean are reduced. Selecting the Sport mode quickens throttle response, increases steering feel and raises shift points for maximum performance. In the Eco mode, shift points are lowered and the vehicle starts off in second gear for optimized fuel economy.
2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class standard equipment includes a power sunroof, eight-way power front seats with lumbar support, two-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and a central controller with a five-inch display screen. An optional Multimedia Package can play tracks stored on a data CD, DVD or memory card, and the audio system can be fitted with an optional six-disc, in-dash CD changer.
The 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes with all the safety features expected from Mercedes-Benz from four-wheel disc brakes and ABS to traction control and ESP stability control. The 2011 C-Class boasts nine supplemental restraints, including two-stage front air bags, a knee air bag for the driver and pelvic air bag which work together with curtain and side air bags to provide extra protection for front occupants in dangerous side-impact collisions.

The 2011 C300 Luxury Sedan and Sport Sedan of Mercedes-Benz are equipped with an 2.996-cc (3-liter) DOHC 24 Valve, V6 engine with aluminum-alloy cylinder block. This engine produces net power 228 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a 7 speed automatic with optional electronically controlled, driver-adaptive programming and more. A manual 6-speed transmission also is disponible. The fuel economy is  18 mpg (city estimate) and 26 mpg highway (estimate).
The 2011 Mercedes-Benz C350 Sport Sedan model is equipped with an 3.5 liter, 24 valve, DOHC V6 engine that produce 268 hp and 258 lb-ft net torque. Only automatic transmission is disponible for this model. Fuel economy of 2011 C-Class C350 Sport Sedan is 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.
The engine of 2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is an 6.3-liter V8 that produces 451 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque (with 0 – 60 mph acceleration in 4.4 sec). The fuel economy for 2011 C63 AMG is 12mpg city/19 mpg highway.
